A Juventus Soccer Schools training camp organised for Australian youngsters between the ages of five and 16 has been hailed a resounding success.
The five-day scheme, held at Melbourne’s ‘Club Italia Sunshine’ towards the end of January, saw Juventus University graduates Davide Fornaca, Lorenzo Grossi and Stefano Guidoni introduce over 50 budding footballers, divided across three groups, to the Bianconeri coaching methodology honed at the club’s training base in Vinovo.
In the build-up to the opening of the training camp, trials for local sides and introductory evenings were organised with the aim of welcoming new talent into an exciting and productive environment.
The week drew to a close with a special awards ceremony in which prizes and certificates were handed out to the most promising stars of tomorrow.
