Pretty sad but even more sadly, it was expected.

As I told you countless of times Andy, Andrade has sadly been fighting the currents with his injuries (for years and years), and it has been obvious he isnt someone to rely on.

Damn. I mean, sucks for us. Even worse for him.

Depor must be sweating like they dodged a bullet in unloading him for some cash.

I never thought he was a good signing.
What has going to CL and Serie A football with only 4 defenders anything to do with me not rating Andrade?

I felt disappointed when we signed him that's for sure... I thought we might bring someone better, younger and less injury prone.

Even with a healthy Andrade I won't feel safe with our backline and now that he is injured the situation is even worst... 4 defenders isn't enough for CL and Serie A let aside that "Mellberg, Legro, Knezevic" are average or slightly above average at best defenders.

So how did contradicted myself, again?
Mellberg and Legro are very good defenders. I doubt you have seen Knezevic play to label him as an average defender.

A team only needs 4 CB's a season. It's the area where injuries and fatigue is at a minimum. we have no shortages in defense. Andrade's injury will have no effect on the team as I would personally pick Legro over him.

It wasn't expected. But congratulations for being right on this horrible matter. You should be a doomsday prophet for the Illuminati with your unforeseeable knowledge.

He has been plagued by injuries for 3 (almost 4) years, has the same identical huge injury and surgery 3 times in last year, that he is NOT player to rely on was very much expected (if thats not an expected pattern, what is?).

That didnt change despite you stressing the opposite and saying he is going to start for us next season, his quite unfortunate injury prone record was obvious to see ( Depor were very lucky to cash in on him considering how harrowed he was by injuries in last 2 years with them).

NEVER did I say he would start for us. Don't put words in my mouth.

But you using his injury to argue a point that you made in the past is borderline pathetic. Andrade, just like Larsson, could have come back just like the other athletes who have returned from injury. Too bad that's not the case.

Now lets all perform fellatio on Knezevic because he's the next Robert Kovac.

He has shown way more severe consistency in injury then just one leg breaking like Larsson (the fact he injured his knee severely in the same frigging spot 3rd time in a row is telling).

And when we signed Knezevic, I wasnt sold on him, but I said its good to have depth because Andrade is finished and is extremely unreliable who shouldnt be counted (counted 4 CBs instead of 5) while you were stressing your hardest of how thats not the case etc. His injury can neither be shocking or unexpected (to predict, as you tried to make it), and reality showed yet again that sadly, Andrade isnt anything but a finished player as a footballer.

P.S Ladyboy, how novel and creative.

As if you're there in Turin and have a Ph.D.

Doctor Osman, Knezevic is a bullshit transfer and you know it. Don't use this injury to justify this crap... what you're doing is defending the mediocrity of this club.

If you want to really and truly want to criticise our board, you should flame them for signing Andrade when they truly and really knew his severe injury history (basic check up should tell you that). They panic bought him, ignoring the obvious huge injury risk of his (because we missed out on the other option and just said wth) which he showed evidently and clearly, we virtually payed 10m for a player who played only 4 games and will retire now.

But you are more busy harping on Knezevic (who is a frigging loan deal) then this massive loss of investment.

Look, you can't keep using injuries as an argument. Nobody know if or when somebody will have an injury. Giovinco, in his wonderful youth, could snap his leg the next time he plays and that's it. Same could be said about Zanetti who has had injury problems.

It's nice and all trying to be a "Monday Morning Capello", but yeah, I'll blame the board for not getting their target in Milito. Yet the fact still remains that Andrade was once a great defender and Knezevic is an average player.

I have to agree with Andy on this one, Osman, and he wasn't so hot on the prospects of signing Andrade to begin with. I don't think anyone, Andrade included, foresaw something this bad.

Poor Jorge! I hope he gets better soon. I expected him to be a good player for us but his damn injuries had to get in the way! He has always been looked upon highly though and maybe he can give a few tips and tricks to our other defenders. If he retires i wish him all the best! Jorge could become a football manager and coach in his country of Portugal! That would be cool! I would find it cool to see him coach of FC Porto or Sporting Lisbon. Anyway get well soon Jorge!
