If he returns at the end of August, he wont be able to get a proper, full pre-season
training session. I ve always reserved high hopes on him, but it seems that his fate is sealed...
This is his last chance, if he is not available until x-mas, we should off load him ASAP!

I can't think of any sane person who would buy Andrade now.

We got rid of Tudor and got another one in return.
True, but i can't be more against selling or giving away Andrade before the season starts.. The last thing we need to do is abandon Andrade and than for him to find form at another club, the club has stuck with him and considering we spent 10 million on him it's time for him to repay us, if he stays fit i'm confident we'll see the defender we so much need, people seem to forget that not too long ago he was a top defender and captaining Portugal.. When it all comes down to it i guess it just matters on his fitness and hopefully the Juve doctors have done their job

Andrade Close To Juve Return
Jorge Andrade is close to returning from his long-term knee injury, and he is happy to be able to kick-start his Serie A career.

Andrade only signed for the Bianconeri last year from Deportivo La Coruna, however in only the fourth game of the 2007/08 season against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, he suffered a broken kneecap.

The 30-year-old underwent an operation, which proved to be unsuccessful, meaning that he was forced to go into surgery once again.

This has proved to be more of a success, and despite missing the remainder of the campaign, Andrade is said to be close to returning to full fitness, and indeed he is with the rest of the first team squad in their summer training camp in Pinzolo.

“I did think about retiring,” Andrade admitted.

“However now I am happy to have restarted

"Who was I closest to during this period ? The doctors!”

Andrade also shared a joke about Portugal’s Euro 2008 campaign, which of course he was forced to miss due to his injury.

"Why were Portugal eliminated? Simple, it was because they were without me and Tiago,” he laughed.

I expect a lot from him...

More than i expect from melberg...

he had played for years in o high level snd if he has no injuries, he could be a ver good defencive duo with Chiellini...

not really. Andrade just came back from yet another carrier threatening injury; don't expect him to be destroying forwards any time soon.
melberg on the other hand is a very solid defender, and has just come of the back of a great season at villa.
Bearing in mind sissoko wasn't great in the P.L and then came to seire A and played as great as he did, melberg could do the same.

On the official site it said that during yesterday's training Jorge felt a pain in his left knee or something so he'd have further tests done today.
This isn't good

SKY says it may be serious and his career could be threatened by this injury. We'll know more tomorrow.

Too bad for the guy. I really liked him when he was at Depor but knew it was a risk when we bought him.

Ivanovic anyone?

Another 9m € thrown in toilet.
haha. Here is a lesson for our Management :

Objectives :
- Juventus to be among the best in europe
- Juventus to win the CL by 2010

Means :
- Buy Good Players
- Don't Concentrate or efforts on watching up one good player. Alternatives are very important( We thought we'll get Milito we got andradeinjuryprone). We concentrate our efforts on Xabi now we'll get Poulsen).

Is it so complicated ?
