Andrade was not injury prone before, he had an unfortunate injury about 2 seasons ago I think, which caused the problem he has now. It was against Barca and it was the reason Barca didn't buy him, coz they gave him a serious injury that they feel will give him problems (which is now proven).

yea true...and also Barca wanted Milito which they felt was a better option...am still not convinced though a fully fit Andrade is still better than Gaby IMO

Andrade has had two major injuries in the past few years. But still, he's not like bag-o-glass Marchionni, who seems to get a new injury every few weeks that keeps him out until the next one comes up.

Give our dicey backline and Andrade's cool head and leadership abilities, I'd like to see him stick around longer.

Noneed to sell him at all, he is a very good player that didn't get the chance to prove himself. I think things would've been really different in that backline had he been playing regularly.

Thats what i was saying all along..... with those players we have a decent defence.......chiellini can also play as a left back........

Problem is that of those three, two are not under contract to play for us until after the season is over, and the third has a busted kneecap and is out indefinitely.

yeah for next season...this season we have CL wrapped up almost and no chance of winning the scudetto. Next season we need some improvements though. Start at Left side defense and midfield. Plus if we have a good left back then that will take pressure off the winger with two people giving crosses.

We're too shaky at the back. And Andrade and Legrottaglie aren't getting any younger. And we need someone who can at least cross effectively once in a blue moon from the fullback position, and Chiellini is all we've got there.

Chiellini is no more a left back, he would play there only if Molinaro and probably even Grygera would be injured. He played on that position becase of his young age and lack of experience which is needed in the central defence. But now he gained experience and one day he will be a perfect CB, he has fantastic predispositions to play there plus he isn't that fast as a full back should be (Molinaro is, but he lacks in other abilities).

Zebina is a good right-back. Not as good as a Jocelyn Angloma or Willy Sagnol, but still not a bad player. His presence going forward is strong.

With having potential I mean that he's able to be the best RB in the serie A. But often he forgets what football is all about. FORZA ZEBINA!
