Of course , however this forum turns on strikers regardless if they are good or shit. Higauin was too expensive despite scoring lots of goals. Ronaldo despite being clutch was turned on because he didn’t track back.

This club just hates attacking players. Only reason del piero is worshipped is because side of how long he lasted not because of his skills

i still consider chiesa a good signing whose career was ruined by injuries. i'd sign pre-acl chiesa anytime

locatelli isn't shit, just underwhelming compared to pirlo and pjanic. same with de ligt, he was just too expensive for what he was.

It’s very early days but the biggest benefit this player brings is his build up play. We haven’t had a striker like that for as long as I can remember.

On this flip side, this guy may only score 5-10 goals in a season and provide just as many assists and so many will conclude he was a flop.

You won't need to chase me though. My expectations are incredibly low. I expect to see a fairly technical player that works harder than Dusan, who is inconsistent and fades in big games. I see him as a rotational player rather than a future starter here.

I think you are right, and it wouldn't be an issue if we knew who then would be our scorer. But Yildiz will not score 20+ nor anyone else. If we had someone that filled that role, it wouldn't be an issue. But even Benzema, Suarez and the likes, that offered so much in pressing and build up, scored for funzie. If we could have someone with a normal contribution compared to them, we would be OK. But I expect neither David or Kolo will do so.

If a player that score on average 25 goals per season for the last 3 season can only score 5-10 goals, there are so much wrong with this club. And plus he get 12 assists last season, so he is not just goals, but support too, be a little bit optimistic. It is not like clubs in Serie A on the level really far above Ligue 1 club

Osimhen only score 18 goals with Lille. His first season he scored 10 goals with Napoli , because he miss 24 games in his first season because of injury, then he comeback in the 2nd season with 30+ goals in all competitions. Give a little bit respect to this guy because he already in fact prove that he can score 20+ goals consistently for 4 seasons.

And back to the my statement above, if he only score 5-10 goals, while he play week in week out( no injury). It is clearly there are so much wrong with this club
