How good is this signing? Someone who knows him rate him out of 10 or compare him to past signings please.

I don't really see any past signings we've had where we can make a direct comparison. David is mostly a second striker who can press. He's good in tight spaces and making passes, but isn't going to be able to fulfil a target role for us. I would assume if Kolo is on the bench and we play David up top, he will do a lot of interchanges with Yildiz and Chico.

The only player I can think of who's similar is maybe Tevez, or to a lesser extent Vucinic. Maybe a 70/30 blend. But he's sort of a unique player in a way in that he's pretty fast as well. As a free signing it's pretty good, IMO. But he won't have as much space in Serie A, so there's that.
