It's awesome we're paying 22 million gross or 20% of our payroll to somebody who still needs to learn basic footballing skills
Basic skills... If you look at football this way then everything is basic. First touch, shot, heading the ball, first touch passing, running with the ball, marking the ball etc. The thing is some players do it better or on a more regular basis than the others.
I think that Vlahovic has very good technical attributes for his size and his issues are mainly mental.

I just think it's a hilarious attitude to have that "he is just a promising young talent, lets give him grace and years maybe he will improve some aspects of his game". I give someone being paid 22 million zero grace, that fucker needs to be performing at every level immediately or else he is getting the boot.

Living in Canada I get plenty of David info and honestly he’s been underwhelming. Not worthy of a Juve jersey. I’d take Castro from Bolognese for less $$$.
Totally agree with you. He's the type of player who shows up against teams like Cuba and Haiti then disappears in big games. I haven't been following him much in Ligue 1 but as you mentioned, very underwhelming in regards to the national team.

Canadians are truly the total polar opposite of murican fvck yeah patriots. Who hype up total nobody scrubs and bums aslong as they fellow yanks (litterally Pulisic only good top level american).

But here's litterally only attacking canadian player who is been top level good for 3-4 years in Ligue 1, as one of the consistent top scorers and well rounded (multiple positions) speedster.

But instead of overdose on the nationalistic kool aid and hype him up, they give nuanced takes of his flaws and drawbacks in big games, and be bit cautious about him. Respect to you cannucks. You honour the memory of John Candy.

Jonathan David isn't a top player. But he is good, really good. Every time I seen him for Lille past years he delivered. This year maybe not as much, injuries and being in conflict with the club a little.

But him on a free and as rotation option would be an improvement for Juve. Who have no real central attackers besides Vlahovic.

Americans think their primary issue is the manager it’s so funny.

I want him here regardless of Dusan's future. All top teams has two good strikers, we only have one. Plus I wouldn't mind experimenting with two strikers sometimes

US - the new Ingurland with like 20% of the talent

Pochettino will probably retire from football after coaching USMNT. Such will be the scrutiny and pressure on him to make a bunch of sunday league level players to look like a semi-competitive team

Bro, you're from India, a place that has like 2 Billion people and can't even have one player in any meaningful league across the globe, including MLS.

Is it because you suck ass or because it's impossible to play football when you have 10,000 people crammed into two square feet?

Best player in the league during his time in the MLS

Whatchu talking about?

Would easily wipe the floor with trashbags like Weah and Mckennie

One of the most decorated goalscorers in international football. Mentioned in the same breath as greats like Messi, Ronaldo, Pele and Puskas.

Why am I not surprised no US player is in this list. That's right, you've never had a great player! Weah and Mckennie is your standard. Pipe down fella

Yeah, because playing against the likes of Sri Lanka and Pakistan is such a challenge.
