I'll start with a positive, he has a nice weight of pass. The problem is he is weak, doesn't defend well, not fast (actually seems deceptively quicker than he looks) and can't cross.

It was obvious in his first appearance in preseason that he was miles away from the level needed and Savona was far closer.

The prospect of him facing City is worrying.

the least ready youngster of them all, and by a mile. yildiz and savona: absolute first team material. mbamgula scored an other goal today, i don't mind him. this guy though is a disaster waiting to happen

How about Pagnucco, our youth LB just getting called up ? Can he do better than Rouhi ?

He was 3rd choice LB in a fairly small squad to begin with, seems the expectations were clearly set too high. You can only hide below average players in a strong settled group, which we are far away from.

Not expecting anything other than a CB in January, so this guy will unfortunately be back up for the remainder of this season and then be shipped off on loan next year.

We can complain that Savona plays too much, but he is still twice as good as Rouhi. At least he showed great potential at the beginning of the season, Rouhi looks like a complete amateur every time he gets a chance.
