Has anyone heard of this tournament? It's a tournament organized by Nike. A 3 on 3 Brazilian style tournament.

Does anyone have any videos of it?

ps: I found this on juventus.com :

Brazilian magic comes to Turin

‘Joga Bonito’, the 3-on-3 football tournament organised by Nike and inspired by Brazilian football has arrived in Turin. The game is designed to employ all the elements that have come to define Brazilian footballing excellence - technique, heart, respect and team spirit – and who better than Emerson to ‘kick-off’ the event. The competition was held at the ‘Andrea Fortunato San Remo ‘72’ Sports Centre where 14 local teams competed to win the Allievi (under 16) category in the Piemonte leg of the tournament.

Guys, go to the Nike Joga Bonita webpage. Go to Archive-->"Ginga, The soul of Brazilian Soccer"

They follow around young talented kids from different parts of Brazil. It's sick how much skill these kids have. One of the videos includes the best Futsal player in the world, Falcão.

Actually it is more than just that Tahir.
Yes, there are "funny" videos with Cantona. The fake Ronaldinho hitting the bar repeatedly video and one of Ronaldo as well.

For those who want to enter the Futsal competition, may submit their forms on the website.

    HENRY SIGNS FOR REEBOK
    Tuesday 11 Apr, 2006

Nike star Thierry Henry has defected to rival Reebok to become the new face of the sports brand's "I am what I am" campaign.

The Arsenal footballer will move to Reebok from August 1 after his involvement with Nike's World Cup 2006 advertising is complete.

The signing of Henry, whose positive image was reinforced by his appearance in Nike's "Stand up, speak up" anti-racism campaign - is a notable coup for Reebok as it pushes its brand in Europe.

In the UK, the company has signed stars including England footballer Wayne Rooney and boxing prodigy Amir Khan, although so far they have only been used in non-broadcast advertising, such as on bus shelters.

Paul Harrington, the president and chief executive of Reebok, said: "We will market [Henry] in ways that demonstrate to Europe and the world the perfect fit that lies between Reebok and Thierry. His public stance against racism and his commitment to social issues outside of football epitomise our 'I am what I am' brand campaign."

Henry's signing follows the acquisition of Reebok by Adidas-Salomon in a £2.1bn deal, finalised in January and aimed at taking on the might of Nike, the market leader.

Now you're taking this too far. You can not expect Henry to have some emotional ties to his shoe company.

By the way, did Adidas purchase of Reebok go through?

I've seen the billboards for Joga Bonita at a number of matches over the past couple of months. But the logo/font they choose is just hideous -- muy feo!

I recently read an article somewhere about Adidas' competition against Nike in the football market. Looks like Adidas is getting ahead.
