but i don't rate pazzini as a del piero kind of player..his dribbles r not that good..i think he has a sense for goal (see the goal he scored against us) but not the ability to create it..maybe i'm wrong,but from what i've seen he looks t ome more like a trez than a DP

don't worry about fiorentina if they continue spending like they are now,its just a matter of time they r playing at serie c again! and also,which player in italy outside milan would not want to join juve?

Yeah, I got the same feeling, he seems to have everything Gila has but also more to his game. Ofcourse we aren't talking about Pazzini in the next year but hopefully Moggi will find a way to lure him here. But then again, by that time his price would have sky rocketed and I think Fiorentina's reputation will be restored to what it was in the late 90s meaning a transfer of Pazzini might face similar situation to Baggio's.

Pazzini's got a better header than Gila,but IMO Alberto plays better with the ball on the ground than Giampaolo and has better positioning to grab the goals than the viola player so they aren't quite the same kind of player and i don't agree that pazzini has more to his game he has time to learn though still just 21 (2-3 yrs younger than alberto) and while he's having a chance to shine now,alberto was still a sub at his age so he'll probably be better than the milan hitman

Yes,we were linked to him before he went to fiorentina,but that's not a problem since we can take whoever we want from them for a bargain (i.e. Miccoli and Maresca,although it's was a joint ownership,they were screwed big time hehe )

Well it`s not that hard to be better than Gila as Gila is way... way overated!
I see Gilardino as a good striker no more than that he can score and he isn`t that great at it too if you don`t put him in a nice angel near the keeper he won`t do anything quite like Trez. The only difference is that Trez can make it from wide angles as well!
