U'r sooooooo wrong :disagree: Quaresma is far better than Vicente (and i also rate the spaniard very high) and he's definetely NOT an AMC..He's a Pure Winger who can play on both sides of the pitch ;) and he's better than Zambrotta as a winger, which u all remember he disappointed at his first juve seasons and never really convinced me TBH (and i have seen Zambrotta play since his days as winger at bari tht earned his transfer to juve so i know what i'm talking about)
Well I've seen his plays since Barca (ofcourse I take it that u know about the guy more than I do :D) and Porto(although not recently) and I see him more roaming towards the inside of the field. The times that I've seen him I saw great shoots and goals but not the winger type.

Quaresma over Zambrotta? Well he'd have to do alot, I don't think Zambo flopped his first season, infact I think he made a great contribution as attacking winger to Juve. So much that Juve were a bit dependant on him and his services from the flanks.

I guess I'll try catching some Porto games to see how he's playin now. But at the momment, Zambo on the left would be my first choice for neddy replacement.

Btw about vicente, I just see that Vicente is a better crosser of the ball and likes to get forward on the sides to get crosses in. So it seems to me a better fit for Juve, but again I'd pick Zambo on the left anyday.

Whilst I realize tribalfootball.com is universally regarded as an unreliable source of transfer speculation, I'm beginning to think that there is something in the latest Joaquin rumours viz:-

Luciano Moggi is determined to use funds received from the Mediaset deal by offering Real Betis President 10m euros + Zalayeta and Olivera for the player. (Originally reported by Stephan yesterday.)

This would be a good time to add to a position we are weak on in terms of providing both attacking thrust and service to Trezeguet and Ibrahimovic from the right.

I'm sure he would be a resounding success with us. Good luck Luciano in your negotiations.

i dunt think 10million euros plus zala and olievera is too much considering we will lose zala for free in the summer ...so its better to take this chance on zala ...but i doubt this will happen cause the report says the deal is for winter market and signing joaquin at this stage will only cause sudden distrupt on the dressing room and he wont be eligible for the champions league .....i think its a good deal on the transfer price but not the right time.

i read that he was spanish league Young Footballer Of The Year (2002), so he has to be good player. Did he play for Betis then also?

Personally, Joaquin is imo the best right wing in the world and has been for a long long time, one of the few players i have constantly dreamt of wearing the white and black shirt ever since he was 17... To me talk of queresma in the same sentence as joaquin is jus an insult to football...

Would absolutely love joaquin to play for juve... doubt it will happen though...

Shadowfax, it could be a possibility. Moggi is a magician. We will offer a few fringe players and cash, so we shall see.

Keep the dream alive!:agree:

Camoranesi > Joaquin seven days a week. Camoranesi > any other winger in the world seven days a week too.

But still, Chelsea got Robben, Duff - Wright-Phillips, Cole on the wings, so why can't we have 4 great wingers? Plus Neddy is out in a season or two. I say bring Joaquin in, but then as a replacement for Nedved due to the latters high age.

And one more thing, could someone come up with a few names of Spanish players that did well in Italy?

Joaquin is good winger, but far from the being the best winger out there i'd say.
Though his prize might reduce a little at the end of the season, with Betis being relegation battlers at the moment. Maybe Joaquin's high release clause would be cancelled, if the team was to relegate..

well don't know many spaniards that did well in Italy , just one Luis Suarez played with Inter 1961-70 and then samp I think but that was long time ago

I respect ur opinion but i don't agree with it man ;) and if u feel insulted when someone compares quaresma to joaquin,u should start watching porto's matches so u know what u r talking about my friend

Anyway,Joaquin is a RIGHT winger and doesn't pierce through the middle so he can't replace nedved..only camoranesi who IMO needs no replacement
