we need a rb and a replacement for thuram. not another lb. we already have 3 players who have played in that position. makes no sense to add another 1. balzaretti is zambrotta's replacement imo since he is good at getting involved upfront. capello should move chielleni to cannavaro's positions because he is much better at defending than going up. not to mention his height is a bonus for a cb.

Think of it this way - Capello won't be around for that long and after his "project" with Juventus is over he can happily move on and let his successor(s) to clean up the whole mess. Even if he was kicked out earlier than his contract would expire it would not be his problem.

Just some quick notes according to rumours -

Marchionni will replace Olivera, that's -80 born player replacing -83 born
Zanetti to replace Blasi, -77 and -80
Antonioli to replace Abbiati, -69 and -77
no wonder we are called The Old Lady

Thats because we are wise
Marchionni and zanetti both better than olivera and blasi
Plus, we can now sell blasi for money or swap
Lastly, cant really expect juve to spend tons for abbiati just to put him on dea bench. Antonioli is realiable backup:agree:

actually guys i'd prefer old players who actually can do something than young players who can do nothing, have u guys seen Blasi in the Cagliari game ?!?!? we was nothing.

now compair him to Zanetti in the Milan game who really deserve full credit for Kaka disappearance in that game.

and about Pasqual he is better than chellini and Balza combined

Chiellini being played as a centre is interesting. He definitely has the height and he is good in the air defensively. As for his overall defensive skills I think he lacks a little.

I agree with the right back and left back situation.

As for Marchionni and Zanetti joining on frees, i believe this is a great move by Moggi. They are both better than current back ups. Olivera is a lil unlucky as i think he could have been better than he was if given more opportunities.

Having old players at the club isnt such a bad thing provided there is a good mix. Nedved and Thuram are at the end of their careers, but are still useful players. But others such as Pessotto for example is just filling space in the squad.

The mix is important, but the transition of moving players in and out of the squad is important also. Moggi and Lippi screwed it up back when montero and iuliano were nearing the end. I think this summer Moggi needs to recognise that Thuram, Nedved and a few others are getting in the same boat.

I'm glad that we got Marchionni, he is a way to better then Olivera, on other way maybe Olivera isn't such a bad player but he needs more playing time. I think the bes solution is to loan him to some Serie A club, and see will he develop into a good player.

About Zanetti I'm not really sure, I've red that he played excellent match against Milan, but one match doesn't mean anything, and Blasi played well for Parma and is much more younger than Zanetti. But I still see that deal pretty good, especially if we use Blasi as a bait for some other player.

Antonioli is good job, it would be stupid to take Abbiati for the bench, and lets face the truth that Abbiati also want first team football and Juve is the last place where he gonna get it.

And also I agree that we should convert Chiellini into a CB, and leave to Balza left position or right whatever. We really need good RB especially when Zebina is leaving, and good young central defender. Not to mention that our midfield needs improvement which i can't see in Zanetti. Like everyone said Mancini would be best option!!! We all know that Mancin can play as RM and in his last match against palermo he played as a CM and scored 2 goals!!!

http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?...id=156&lid=8&title=Bayern+consider+Camoranesi

Bayern Munich are mulling over a summer bid for Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi.

The German giants are looking at ways to add to their squad over the summer, particularly with Michael Ballack exiting the Allianz Arena.

Reports suggest that Italy international Camoranesi is one name on Bayern coach Felix Magath's wish list.

Though striking a deal to sign Camoranesi is fraught with difficulties, rumours claim that Bayern are confident they can entice the player to Die Bundesliga.

Camoranesi is under contract at Juventus until 2009, but has endured a strained relationship with the club in recent weeks.

That could facilitate his summer departure, although Bayern and Juventus have also been at loggerheads this season regarding Willy Sagnol.

The France international appeared poised to sign for the Italian champions before performing a U-turn and agreeing an extension with Bayern.

The situation caused some fraction between the two European heavyweights and it is unclear whether that would hinder any move for Camoranesi by Bayern.

aww man. I like Camporanesi. What if Marchionni flops? Then we will have 2 useless flanks, instead of one.

Swap Camo for Sagnol plus cash
i was thinking more Lucio than Sagnol. Remember, Thuram is ageing and declining fast, getting Lucio, a world class centre back, which are scarce in the market these days is a lot better than getting a right back.

Demichelis plus cash sounds better, we turn Demechelis into a CB. But I still believe its best to sell for cash only, and we look for a young CB or Playmaker

Lucio is worldclass? When he attacks he doesn't come back

I rather we obtain the services of Demichelis

Let's just keep Camo.
Agree, camo is a proven player for us, I remember him struggling to settle in at his early days and for us I think his been of somewhat a revelation his been behind most of our attacks to get rid of him just because we have marchionni is a big mistake. Im sure if capello had a brain he could most proberly rotate them both and maybe at times even start them both at the same time.

Corriere Dello Sport talk about Moggi going for Lyon's Diarra(30m), Cris(20m) and Réveillère(10m). I call BS. We can get better players for the amount they want for each players like Barone, Barzagli and Oddo for example.
