I couldn't care less what he won with his NT, but rather what he's been performing with his club for some time now.

And I for one wasn't impressed with his performance this WC.

Too harsh, just keep an eye on him when watching Villareal next week. I don't think he'll end up here anyway.

So many clueless knee-jerk reactions. Can agree with Sadomin the most, but the rest of you are just so full of it.

Last year i was against Grosso transfer, i saw him a lot in Ligue 1 and he is a garbage.. But Capdevilla is a pretty good LB every time i watched him in Villareal and Spain NT.. If there is no solution for our LB and Marotta doesn't want to spend, he is a good choice

Why can't we opt for younger options? This guy is good for one or two seasons max. Can't we find a 27 year old somewhere, who is actually good, and sign him to a 4 year deal?!

What do you mean?
It's just an obvious choice. 32-year old left back who's been a regular in a successful Spanish team, but also the cheapest player in the starting XI.

He won't be as bad as everyone says he will, he might even be good, but it's just a way to get the LB-problem over with for this season without putting in much effort.

For the best team in the world, yes.

Yet people wouldn't mind the weak link in Barcelona at all (Maxwell/Abidal).

We should aim higher, but he's still better than what you make him out to be.
as my grandfather used to say, 'you can't re- plant an old tree'
leave him where he is
