Saw Porto last game partially, where he had two of those assists and one thing must be said - we shouldnt be buying any player from Portugese league, based only on the goals and assists. I mean they played against a mighty Casa Pia and had like 99 chances to score the goal, the other teams defence was non existent at all. Alberto, besides the assists ( i didnt even see he assisted the second goal) had a sitter from like 8 meters that he missed.
He will definitely be sold for 30-40m in a year or two to PL side, because thats how those Portugese teams work, but will he be worth it?

I watched the highlights to see what his assists were like. Neither of them should be given as assists, it was laughable. If that's how the Portuguese league scores assists then no wonder all the player stats look insane, especially against these cannon fodder teams.

The first one he made a simple pass to the winger 40 yards out. The guy came in from right, took on about 4 players and curled a shot into the corner.

The second one he had a shot blocked in a goalmouth scramble and the ball came back to another player who scored.
