God i wish we kept Dragusin though...
Fast forward a year or two from now and you'll be saying the same thing about Huijsen.
No big deal. I have said the same thing about Romero.
Many said the same about the likes of Caldara and Demiral too, even Rugani when he was young and hyped with lucrative offers from abroad that we turned down, and look at how these turned out… hindsight is a powerful tool.

We can’t keep all of them when they are inconsistent or still raw, some develop much later in their careers and in the Juve environment most often than not there is little time or space for grooming, while also taking into account that many ask to leave themselves either for the money or more guarantees regarding playing time, which we can’t always provide.

Huijsen oozes more potential than all of them. Of course there's no guarantee and he could end up like them but the kid has talent and a calm leadership persona about him. He's 19 and has played several games at the top flight, you can't say that about every talented kid. In fact Caldara joined when he was 21/22, Demiral, 21, Romero 21. Huijsen is a year or two early and with bags more potential. Dragusin was just a stupid deal but reality is noone was to know how good he would turn out.

With that said, I wouldn't be disappointed if he was sold, as long as we get a really good deal out of it and it allows us to purchase more proven players. A buyback clause or a future seller on percentage is the least I expect.

We couldn't afford Calafiori how exactly are we going to get him?
Good question, maybe they are interested in some counterparts from our side that could make it more feasible for us? Also this specific rumor is not one to have gained much momentum yet so maybe there’s nothing more to it other than an inquiry.

West Ham is on Todibo's trail, but his profile is considered very expensive for the club's coffers. Juventus are worth keeping an eye on, as both Thiago Motta and Giuntoli appreciate the '99 class. The Bianconeri continue to monitor the situation.

From what I've heard they categorically refused any counterparts in the Thuram deal so I wouldn't be so sure they would accept it this time.
Perhaps when it comes to the Thuram deal there was already a lowball transfer fee being discussed due to the expiring contract and Nice probably wanted to maximize a direct sell, however regarding Todibo maybe they’d be a bit more open to a fee somewhere close to €30M plus some other counterpart to get it over the line.

Schira and Pedulla hinting at Todibo/Juve again. Pedulla also claims his price tag is much lower than 40M. 20M+ bonus. Maybe they just use the money they had intended for Calafiori on Todibo, because I think that was around 25-30M.

Don't we have enough CBs: Bremer, Danilo, Djalo, Gatti. If we buy Todibo, does that mean either Djalo or Gatti would go?
