We're basically the last exciting before endless miles of boredom other than maybe a few choice locations Yosemite, Tahoe, the green triangle etc.

How about pretty?

Some parts are, the coast and the redwood forests are pretty nice.

Those little towns are all very boring, nothing worthwhile, for young people at least. Except all the weed farms that grow freely up there.

For some reason days seemed longer and less stressed. I could watch a football game and get to bed before 1:00am. No one seemed in a rush.

Of course I was in Washington, not No Cal. Though some of my crew members went to No Cal a week later.

Cali -across the US (stopping in vegas) to the East Coast...probs renting a car and driving across if anyone lives en route and fancies putting me up for a night,
East coast to catch up with the east coast lot - looking at burke etc. here.
Up to NY via the big cities on the east and chilling in the big city and flying home in july time.

I should have really. I'm it would have been cheap to fly up that way for a weekend. I haven't been to that part of the states, actually - the furthest north I got last year was Atlanta. If I'm ever near Washington or whatever any time soon, I'll see if you guys are up for a drink.
