Im in Britain, about 20 miles from greater london.

I haven't been to istanbul, i havent traveled beyond bulgaria to the east, florida to the west, sweden to the north and the gambia to the south.

Out of the cities I visited, I recommend only two: Istanbul and Algiers. But in Algiers you will face a very hard language problem and you maybe taken as a nice hostage , so forget it.

I found it oppressive, stupidly humid, and yeah, the people are like robots and frankly annoying in how they speak in both languages. Are you ethnically Indonesian? Maybe it was just a bad couple of days
