Its funny we moan about our scouts never spotting players such as the likes that Napoli, Fiorentina and Udinese find.

And then when we seem to have found a good one, we moan that nobody else wants him.

I have to agree that someone like Neymar who by all accounts is going to be something special and would likely come right into our team would be great, but who is to say James Rodriguez won't do that also.

Unfortunately, only time will tell.

But I have to agree that I'm just happy that we are going for some young promising player than an old washed up one for once.

so we will have 3 LMs ? :shifty:

I agree with Sal and actually have been asking why we just don't use Gio on the right then?

Half time 1-1

Chances few and far between, Banfield players seem to know this kid is leaving because the posistions he gets into and never receives the pass is ridiculous, he had one very good chance where he made Veron look a fool only to have his shot saved. This kid is definatly suited to European football certainly a clever player. Fantastic off the ball movement.

Yeah that was pretty mental, for the first 15-20 minutes every single Banfield attack was tried down the right side, he must have touched the ball about 3 times. Brought him into the game and they looked more convincing. Some pretty good crosses in that half, from corner and open play. Shame that chance didn't go in.

Granted they scored from the right, it was getting rather annoying that Rodriguez would get himself into some great posistions then receive no pass. The times he has touched the ball though your right, Banfield themselves look alot more dangerous.

How is his shots from distance? his crosses?
His shots are one of his strong points for me, strikes the ball similar to C.Ronaldo. Crosses are good aswell. One thing needs to be noted this kid is very raw but if he fufills the signs he is showing he will become a fantastic player.
