And they’ll happily do it again to remove him from the team for another season.

The thing to solve is what we do with him from 25-26 season onwards.
his contract is outrageous i hate it. Doesn’t expire anytime soon, so he has no reason to take a paycut either. I dunno how Giuntoli is gonna solve this problem unless hes ok with a dry loan, but that kind of deal would be a lot less interesting. And Man U probably wants to dump him permanently as well. Lets see

So should we ask United to pay 70% it should work for one season but we wont be able to sign him the season after as there will still be that 70% we will have to complete...
Since United dont want to reintegrate him I can see a loan deal in hope for some stellar season to sell him for a good amount but on our end its just to strengthen ourselves for one season and then the guy that we should depend on will not be attainable so its kind of shooting yourself in the leg (25/26)
If we forgo koop (would hate it and be sorry for him) we may be able to give him a contract next season with 70% of his current salary maybe?

But I'm ahead of myself, how is Sancho's salary compared to vlahovic? I think Sancho is earning just a bit more? I think we will sell vlahovic next summer.

Sancho is the winger i wanted most but im not sacrificing Koopmeiners for him. We need Koop more than we need Sancho at this stage. At this point Sancho is a luxury.

A week ago I'd agree with you but now if we got Sancho we would have 6 players who can play on the wings (mbangula, yildiz, Weah, Conceicao, Nico, Sancho) and yes I know the first 2 are still unproven and Weah is probably just an average one on those wing positions but then again I think some of them can play AMC as well, yildiz is being positioned to that spot already.

And I believe Motta is a much more offensively flexible coach, so he will find a way.

If we bring Sancho, I don't think koop is still a necessity anymore... Sucks to be him but he should blame Atalanta for that.

This summer they are different with INEOS. INEOS is more sensible in terms of financial. So far they took even long time to get Ugarte for loan + obligation although they need Ugarte. No fee value leaked reported, its not like our negotiation with Atalanta for Koop with the increasing value.

They also hold their valuation on McTorminay asking around €30m. I dont know why Conte asked him specifically.

Technically they also dont really need to sell him because look on their depth on RW they only have Rashford / Sancho, LW Amad / Garnacho, AM Bruno / Mount, ST Hoijlund / Zirkzee, DM Casemiro / Ugarte, CM Mainoo / Eriksen.

I think he himself is aware he won't get that yearly wage anywhere else. Also like 30 % of that wages is in bonuses, he is net income with out them is reported around 8.5m net. If after good season he can down that to 5-6 then it's okay

So if we do get Sancho somehow - Do we still get Koop?
If we do - We will be stacked very well in mid+wingers. at least 2 players who should be capable in performing in every position.

Forward we need to send Milik away and get a young talent to back up Vlahovic (and who knows how things would turn out might even bench him if Vlahovic doesnt wake up...)
Defense - I can see Cabal playing so there is no point talking about RB or LB. Bremer is of course our main guy on the center.
Kalulu, Gatti, Danilo, Savona - Im not sure I like that level. Kalulu - Until I see otherwise is just mediocre, Gatti has intensity in him but isnt that great. Danilo is a good leader and nice when we go forward but when talking about pure defending, he isnt that great. Savona is young and I hope Im wrong but I dont see anything in him so I currently dont rate him.

At least we can test the merchandise before getting it. I just hope there will be no obligation as otherwise we are screwed

I am just imagining IF Motta can recover him and get 50% of his goal contribution rate year before he moves to Man Utd( that almost the rate of 50-60m players) let alone if he touches the 100% he will be 100m+ player ready to pounce by us

We need an option for him, we can just leave up the option if he is unrepairable

If he performs to level of dortmund 2020 the. He will be worth splashing cash on. Thats
superstar level performance and deserves high wage and salary.

Attacking players always earn more than other positions so if he does perform the club has to make him stay.

Like if Nico is worth 40m and Koop worth 60m then sancho being worth 70m fee and high wages makes logical sense assuming he scoring 20 goals and 10 assists per season

So this one looks like it could go down to the final day. Chelsea are involved too lol. I don’t know why they’d be looking to sign a 425th player this mercato but whatever. Hope we still get him somehow.

Wouldn't suprise me if utd stick in a 50% future sell on clause.
