Juve and Milan had a deal not to buy each others targets.

If this Faty guy is good, we're not buying him. We're going for players like Belardi and Kuffour. :(

If this Faty dude is good then this is the kind of players we need to go for. Players no ones really heard of who'll potentionally become great. Look at arsenal for example. Fabregas, Eboue, Senderos, they done things like this even whilst at top flight. We need to build a young a solid juventus for the future, and in serieB would be perfect to gel together. Im just worried about the amount french players being linked.

Faty keen on Juventus move
Rennes defender Jacques Faty has confirmed that he is a target for Juventus.

The Serie B side are keen to reshape their squad under new boss Didier Deschamps and the Frenchman knows all about the central defender's capabilities.

"It is true," said the France Under-21 international. "I believe Didier Deschamps is attracted by me.

"Of course I would like to join that great club.

"I hope to know more quickly."

The centre back's arrival would see him try and fill the huge void left by the departure of World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro, who is favourite to win the 2006 World Player of the Year award.

The Italy captain joined Real Madrid following the Bianconeri's demotion by the authorities.

because milan want him doesnt he'll join them. he'll be a starter at juve, at milan he'll get minimal playing time. serie B may be a facter but he is only young and knows he coul be a starter for juve for many seasons to come.

So Felipe and Faty as centre backs....one question, why can the club look at French young talent but want to loan italian young talent such as Masiello???

Doesnt make much sense in my opinion.

It seems the eternal Juventus fascination with a sprawling network of loan and co-ownership deals continues. :groan:

:agree:

but i actually dont mind bringing in the likes of faty, givet and even felipe....cuz we lost some big guns in the back line...If we get one of those players then masielo could be alrite as a backup player.

but thats just it, if we get felipe, we'll lose masiello.

im all for givet and faty, but id rather see either legro or kovac leave and masiello stay. we need experience, but i think in serie B the likes of givet and faty would do well regardless..even masiello would do good. if we get promotoed then look at a someone more qualified if need be.

at least give the youngsters a chance.

Hope DD does a Wenger and starts unearthing stellar young talent, doesn't matter which nationality really, although juve should try and retain a good italian core.
