Still sad that Ac Milan and Inter Milan have almost double the attendance of Juve.

I now it's always been like this and I know the reasons but it still sucks.

Was so strange seeing the Delle Alpi almost empty while some of the best players in the world were playing.

i visited the delle alpi. compared to any modern stadium, it was a terrible location that lacked ambiance. as a facility, it was also underwhelming by the mid '00s. i saw this match live:

of course it was a positive experience as this was my first time there, but i went to san siro the day before (inda-samp, 1-0 iirc) and it had a much better ambiance despite the low attendance. delle alpi was well due for a replacement, it was one of the reasons for the low attendance. current stadium is levels above when it comes to the infrastructure itself, from parking to restrooms to cafeteria/buffets/restaurants to seating to the inner ambiance around the pitch. i couldn't see shit in san siro, the pitch was way too far from the upper stands, while the current stadium offers perfect visibility from most angles. (i've been there multiple times on multiple levels and curves, all perfect.) not the mention that the museum, the hotel and other facilities like the continassa training facility make it a great location overall, while delle alpi wasn't an attractive building at all, there was no reason to go there other than attending a match

btw i don't think juventus could attract 70k people on a weekly basis, not even if we had a 2017 level team. just my gut feeling, i have no proof or anything

Really? I remember the exact opposite. I remember they were saying there are no ways to extend the stadium.
there are ways, but they aren't planning an expansion: https://stadiumdb.com/news/2025/03/italy_juventus_home_is_heading_towards_a_new_generation_stadium

Gino Zavanella, architect of the stadium-->

“Everything is possible with today’s techniques — it isn’t simple but it’s feasible … It depends on the scale: +20,000 seats is different from +2,000. For the big option you’d consider a third tier … realistically an expansion should be at least +10,000 seats to reach ~52,000.”
