I think the money will go to sportfive and not us?
yep the financed the stadium with 75m so the sponsorship deals it's up to them.
They also manage the sponsors boxes (aka they get the money)
Great news and Sportfive deserve the money seeing as they helped us out big time.

Does anyone know if they receive the whole cut of the stadium sponsorship?

I remember reading we are entitled to a certain amount a long time ago but not sure it if was true
Found this on vecchiasignora:

google translate:
When the construction of the plant began in 2008, Sportfive (an international company that deals with sports marketing, mainly focusing on the interests of many Bundesliga and Ligue 1 clubs) poured 75 million euros into Juve's coffers for naming rights Stadium: 42 immediately and 33 in the next 15 years. In the meantime, he would seek to find a sponsor who gave the name to the structure, on the model of the Allianz Arena in Bayern, to understand. The agreements provided that if in this period Sportfive had made the sale of the stadium name from 75 to 100 million proceeds, they would remain entirely in the hands of the company, but all the gain above 100 million would be divided In the midst of Juventus. Moreover, the hypothetical customers involved in the deal should not have been the direct competitor of the FIAT or the technical sponsor who has become Adidas this year.

So it seems that it depends how much Sportfive got from Allianz. Maybe we'll get some $$ too.

Allianz Stadium?

WTF is this. Ugly name. Also there is already Allianz Stadium in Australia.

Yes there is also the Bayern Allianz Arena, but if Australia already has a stadium in Sydney named Allianz Stadium, no naming rules?

Everyone will call it Juventus Stadium anyways, that comes with being out sponsor for so long, just natural progression of the new stadium. We committed to a sponsorship deal, lets not pretend we would liked whatever the sponsor name would been either way.

I say we've dodged a bullet here. Sure, it's not Puppy Stadium or Booty Stadium but we could have ended up much worse. Imagine some Russian or Arab corporate name, or something awkwardly long like Signal-Iduna Park, or something that's associated with a low quality product like Opel Arena. Lowkey and boring was the best possible outcome.

I'll never take that name into my mouth.

Fucking hell can only hope it doesn't stick.
same stadium name and goal music :baus:
