The roof doesn't close. It would be cool though, for those cold foggy Torino nights.

maybe they will have a huge number of securty guards, don't know..... or maybe they just hope ppl behave because its a new stadium? How do they do it in England that they have open area stadiums? Do they have separating walls for travelling fans/ultras etc?

Not walls, but sometimes away fans will have an entire end of the ground to themselves.

Otherwise it involves lots of police and stewards.

Yeah, in the mid 90s. This century we were averaging 25.000-30.000 in our last seasons at the Delle Alpi (And we were champions then too).

i know it's for measuring light intensity. Every ray of light must illuminate those spots to a certain level of intensity for Hd Tv shooting

Oh ok. I've seen another stadium with a similar looking roof and that closed. I guess not really worth the extra cost.
