Opening of the new stadium: the United declines Juventus

in full swing preparing for the opening ceremony of the plant, planned for ' September 8. Contrary to what is reported this morning by "La Gazzetta dello Sport", Manchester United should not be the opponent for the Bianconeri. The Red Devils - Tuttosport reports - declined an invitation to problems with the calendar, anticipating being engaged in the Premier League early evening of 10 September against Bolton.

The look on Neville's face is probably the best compliment he could have given to the team. It's so sincere and there is no way he's making it up. He and the late 90s Man. Utd respected us enormously and in fact strived to be like us. I'm honored Juventus got played his farewell game.

An encounter with history
August 14, 2011

The 'white & black’ shirt is a sort of football legend worldwide. Like every legend, its roots are ancient and fascinating, branching through Europe up to England. In fact, those colours which in Torino have become an icon, directly come from the heart of Great Britain. Namely from Nottingham, home to Notts County, the oldest professional club in the world, but especially the club from which Juventus got their current shirt in 1903 (to know how this happened, click here).

Therefore, on 8th September when the New Stadium will be unveiled and a new chapter of Juventus’ history will be written, the Bianconeri will play Notts County.

This will be a due tribute to the 'white & black’ colours, when the whole ceremony will celebrate 114 years of the club’s history.
The opening ceremony has been entrusted to K-events, who also arranged - inter alia - the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games occurred in Torino in 2006. “Having those players who represent the oldest club in the world directly on the pitch - pointed out Marco Balich from K-events, show creator - further enriches the programme of the Opening Ceremony, which will be revealed just a few hours before the actual opening of the stadium. When we’ve found out the detail about the 'white & black’ shirt which replaced the old pink shirt, we’ve had no doubts: it’s a fundamental part of a narrative, emotional path which will involve all Juventus fans attending the event at the stadium.”

This path will tell of Juventus legend through victories, trophies and champions. Through Agnelli family as well, who bonded their name to the club almost 90 years ago, making Juventus a symbol and a way of living for million fans.

On 8th September those fans will have a new reason to be proud. They’ll have a new home.

Information about ticket prices and purchase modes to attend the unveiling ceremony of the New Stadium will be available on Tuesday 16th August on Juventus.com
