I don't know, to me those stadiums represent forward thinking and are awesome! While they won't be built for a club like Juventus who want to build a stadium that will represent it's long and glorious history, those stadiums are truly for the future.

they are tearing most of them down and donating them to African nations. Even if the did have fifa in their back pocket, it would have been hard to vote against them for the tournament

Yea well there isn't a big enough population to support all these new stadiums so thats how they're justifying building all these stadiums.

As for what the Africans will do with them I have no idea but football is the most popular sport in the majority of Africa so i can only assume that they will use them to play football, but a lot of these nations are struggling to adequately feed and provide health care for their people so they're never going to be able to afford to build stadiums like this.
