The bad thing here is that the guy is leaving the club in high debs... but lie someone said in the other thread..... he is a business man, a succesfull one (not that im backing him up because i dont know a thing about him)... and those kind of people just dont go out there wasting millions to buy a team and after that sit and say "well what i have to do now with this?".

He surely have some plan..... the sad thing is that manu will never be the same maybe... but lets wait and see... i dont think they will dissapear so fast-.

about the super league and so on,,,IM with desmond and the others.... is not like "hey lets join the super league and win money like crazy"..... it involves much much more than just the power of one american man in debt.

isnt this in some way man united's fault? i mean i really dont know anything about how economics work, but shouldnt they have some sort of protection against this type of thing? how can their laws/policies allow someone to buy the club with borrowed money, and let the club pay back that debt?


could this theoretically happen to any club, specifically juve?

yea i understand that part, but im asking how that happened? is there no protection against that sort of thing happening? it seems sort of corrupt that you can just screw over a massvie organization like that, is there no sort of countermeasuer franchises have to protect themselves against some random asshole walking in and screwing them over?

10 years??IIRC Glazer loaned 270m pounds or thereabouts to buy the club,surely Man Utd earns far more than 27mil a year...

Glazer has a point to invest his 790m pounds. As Arsene Wenger has said, he a bussinessman and he knows what to do with that huge of money. Maybe ManU fans need to think positively, well look at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the club has been successfull since he bought in 1995.

SO WHAT? A superbowl DO I CARE? Do I think the Superbowl is some major achievement? I couldnt care less, as far as I am concerned, its an inferior competition for an inferior sport.

Me thinks, he knows what to do WITH the money. Or maybe the Share-holders United and ManU supporters Association would like to built a new club called FC United as another options and play in North West Counties League? Is that what you want?

He doesnt "own" us competely, Shareholders United have at least 17% of the shares, and as long as he doesnt get to 90%, he can never have complete power.

What do you think a bank lending someone 500m will want in interest, normally interest rates are about 10-12%, so it should be 50m a year!
