Now it's too late after the jailer jailed someone, but if the D revealed himself and got jailed, he was gonna be protected tonight and tomorrow by the BG, possibly the third day again by the jailer or the new jailer.

He can die early if he got a G and didn't reveal himself.

But again, we're arguing over nothing since the D probably doesn't have your brain and he wasn't gonna stay quiet if he investigated a G. Most probably a C was investigated so the G did well not to reveal himself.

Only twice the D investigated a G on day 1.

I did it when I found Fred and it was revealed (I made Hoori do it in order to protect myself). The 2nd time was when Fred investigated me and found out I'm a G. He didn't reveal it and guess what? I made him lynched.
Yes, it was really smart the D not to reveal his role back then. I even got Kyle the BG whacked on that same night because Fred was silly enough not to reveal his role.
I also got a G on day 2 in one of the previous games and revealed it immediately.
