From the 2012/13 season onwards, Germany has 32.642 points, Italy has 28.414 points. Next season Italy could easily score more points than Germany given that apart from Bayern and Dortmund, the rest of their teams are just cannon fodder in Europe.
Projections for next year's coefficients are as follows:
Germany:
Bayern Munich -28 points (SF of CL)
Dortmund- 18 points (Round of 16 CL)
Schalke 04 - 15 points (Round of 16 CL)
Wolfsburg- 10 points (Last in Group stage of CL)
Leverkusen- 13 points (Round of 16 EL)
Gladbach- 10 points (Round of 32 EL)
Mainz- 8 points (Group stage in EL)
Total- 102 points. (14.57 Coefficient points)

Italy
Juventus- 25 points (QF of CL)
Napoli- 18 points (Round of 16 CL)
Roma- 18 points (Round of 16 CL)
Fiorentina- 20 points (SF of EL)
Inter- 18 points (QF of EL)
Milan- 18 points (QF of EL)
Total- 117 points (19.5 Coefficient points)

Although these are just rough estimates given each teams strengths and weaknesses, I expect that we will get similar results in Europe next year.

By the way, Italy's current coefficient of 66.772 is her highest since new rankings began in 2002/03.

exactly. its always better for the top clubs to have a strong league and more places in european competitions. we dont want to become what Lyon was in France a few season ago...
