I think you understood it wrong. Capello is never going to be able to get Moggi out of the club, but he can make him want to leave by not playing the players Moggi bought (mutu).
Well, I always thought that Moggi only buys the players after consulting with the coach on who he wants to sign. Of course, he has to agree as well.

Moggi is like our Santa Claus! He'll buy who Juventus Want!

But Capello didn't say no either. Otherwise, if Capello said that Mutu was of no use, we wouldn't waste any money for this guys salary anyway.

Yes, he could've been a pawn for the Cassano transfer but it wsan't a done deal so I'm sure Capello also thought of some use for Mutu.

capello wouldn´t refuse mutu, no sane person would...I don´t know it it was just because of cassano. I still think we just got him cause it was a shame not to do so if he was available for free.
Now I hope he stays, at least for a couple of years

Yes, I hope he stays. I have to admire how Mutu has stayed so humble playing with so much dedication despite having to fight for a place for the team. It's just something you wouldn't expect from somebody who's been through a rough patch like him.

Juve has this way to make its players understand how to remain humble, in order to keep winning. I think that's one of our strengths.

Juventus director general Luciano Moggi is being linked with a job with Marcello Lippi's Azzurri backroom staff.
Moggi could be offered a part-time role with Italy to take care of responsibilities at the World Cup, including commitments with FIFA, the media and also handling player issues.

Lippi and Moggi have an excellent relationship and while he won't consider leaving Juve for the national team, a part-time role would be considered positively by Moggi.
