Today is my last day here in California.
I am going to Florence tomorrow, flight at 4:20 PM out of LAX. Gonna be a long flight, but its worth it.
Check in to my program on Saturday after landing around 2 PM or so.
I CANT WAIT!
Sure Florence has a lot of tourists, but its a beautiful place, and I know Ill have a blast. I believe the 2nd weekend, we (the 35 person group Im in) are going to Siena, and around the 26th, are going to Rome.
Around this, Ill just be taking some intermediate Italian class, while just kicking it, seeing the sights, exploring, etc.
As some of you may know, I plan on going to Salice Terme around the 11th, and trying to see Juve (any player, dont care) train or have friendlies on this date or the few after. Itd be AMAZING.
Then theres also that TIM Cup tourney between Milan, Inter, and Juve, those three 45 min games. HOW FVCKING NUTS would that be to go to!!!!!
So ya, Im gonna bring a camera for sure, and take a load of pictures. But this is definately a life long dream of mine. Itll be my first time in not only Italy, but Europe as well, so I know itll be amazing. Just knowing that calcio related to Juve will be going down in July, while Im in the country, after all, is insane, and I dont give a shit if I get kicked off my program due to missing too many activities or what not. Seeing Juve is my ONLY concern. I cant even comprehend how NUTS it would be to say, meet Del, or get his autograph, or a picture with him or something. WOW.
I would just cry instantly, no question. Just seeing any members, I will. Ill make that call right now. Itll just be too overwhelming for me. Am I a fan? I guess you can say so.
Ill be sure to hop on the net every once in a while, and look for insight and help from members on here as to whats going on, calcio wise, and where to head, etc etc, as I communicate via email with friends and family over here.
So ya, if you have any last minute advice or just wanna say wats up, go for it. I cant wait. Gonna be amazing
