Zaza is a good 4th striker for us but is far from int'l std. He and Immobile look like Borriello playing for the NT.
Gab has solid technique and a great left foot. Obviously far from a top striker, but he has shown his talent since U21 days. Just like Belotti has afterwards.
Gab, Belotti, likely Lapadula (based just on highlights), and Pelle are all better than Zaza.

Lapadula plays in Serie B at 26, Belotti just had his 1st good season for a low table team. Pelle is debatable but hes already in the NT. Gabbiadini at best is same level as Zaza, cant see how one deserves to start while the other doesent even deserve to be called up.
Zazas playing style brings something much needed and different of Pelle from the bench, aggresion, energy, pressing, counterattacking threat. His playing style and attitude makes him an excellent sub striker for Conte, cant see Gabbiadini offering something similar

For NT i'd bring Gabbiadini,Zaza,Berardi,Bernardeschi,Elsharawy and Insigne and if possible one between Belotti and Immobile (if fit).
It's useless to bring the ones like Eder,Pellè or whatever let's bring the promising youth.
With those kind of players Italy should play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 ideally but knowing Conte he'll go for 3-5-2.

If you dont think he has a point about the current generation of Italians/Italian talent pool in general,then you people are living in denial.Not that i agree fully anyway with his comments.
Pretty sure a guy who extensively scouts for players as his main job would know more about the Italian talent pool than Tuz forum posters.
