Don't we pay off our stadium in the next couple years as well?

Smaller clubs love us, that's the problem with Napoli, Roma and the Milan's...we deal a lot with younger players and let them grow in these teams not to mention when we do buy their gems we also send a pocket-full of kiddos their way as well (@Albertmare). We almost always do our shopping in Italy for players while everyone else is out trying shopping in the EU or south america.

Roma will be an absolute joke next year because they will still try to play Totti if he stays at 40 years old and the one trick pony Mohamed "Krasic" Salah won't take them very far. LOL @ Napoli without Higuain.

This was their year to knock us off the podium
. FAIL

Forget even the target of overcoming Juve because we have always been a substantially bigger club. Whats sadder is that they have not improved on what they used to be.

If I were a Roma fan, the wet dream is to be better than Juve. But a successful season for me is if I see my team growing and improving even if only slightly. Roma did the reverse. They stagnated and regressed, wasting lots of money and time in the process.

The sad thing about Roma fans is they will always place Totti above the clubs interests. They are like all little Rabs.

I disagree about the midfield, but understand what your viewpoint is

Italy is a $#@!ty team to balance. Insigne, gabbiadini...meh.
I put those two cause i wanted SES and 'something else' but we dont even have 1 halfdecent CF. Small runners yea. Tought of berardi as hes versatily but both indeed drift to the flank. If only balol stopped beeing an.insane retard...

Thats probably the best formation but how poor quality has the azzurri become, going forward...
Yeah, quality is lacking.

On top of that, Marchisio is a big blow because Thiago Motta hardly ever plays well in the blue shirt, and Jorginho has been decent this season but isn't that good. Those are the regista alternatives and the players Conte called up last time. Montolivo, Pirlo and DDR are worse.

Gabbiadini is half-decent. I don't mind Pelle as backup, but Zaza, Immobile, Eder shouldn't be in the squad. And Belotti is better than Pelle, and I'm pretty sure Lapadula is too.

Only other good formation/lineup for this Italy is:

Buffon
Darmian Barzagli Bonucci ?????
Candreva Verratti T.Motta Bonaventura/Florenzi/Insigne
Gabbiadini ElSha/Insigne/Giovinco

Thanks for the EU thing. Is there space to make it stricter ? Hg for example ?
I think the new Serie A rules are perfect in every regard. I was surprised. It's well thought-out, and they covered everything.

With more HG requirements, it'll be hard for teams to build a squad next season. Maybe down the line it can be tweaked slightly.

By far my favorite Scudetto.

We started that season well with 3 wins in a row, DP and Trez seemed to understand each other well and formed one of the best attacking partnerships in Europe. This was Ale's first good season after horiffic injury back in '99. But then we went on to draw/lose the following 6-7 games and it looked the team won't managed to push for the title. The draw vs Torino after having 3-0 lead at half time seemed like a final nail in the coffin. Inter and Roma went +10 pts clear at the top and it looked like the title will go to one of those clubs. Around Christmas Lippi did some tweaks to our tactics, from 4-4-2 to 4-3-1-2 and placed Nedved in TQ role, right behind DP and Trez. Apparently him and Davids didn't work well in 4-4-2, since the pitbull would often drift wide to the left, leaving no room for Nedved to operate. The team responded well and started picking up results and by the end of campaign we managed to win 10 in a row, clinching the title in the last round, while Inter fell from 1st to 3rd place and had to go to CL preliminaries. Kudos to Gresko and Poborsky, unsung heroes.

lol you wouldnt even call Zaza up yet you would Start Gabbiadini

Agree with the formation in your previous post if you replace Gabbiadini with Zaza/Pele

i watched it on tv, some hungarian channel broadcasted the two matches simultaneously. i just couldn't believe my eyes.

inter = choking. the only thing they succeeded in was calciopoli - and even that hit back on them.

I do hope it works out great. I wonder how long it will take before they'll accuse us that this rule is greatly beneficial to us considering we got most of the good italians (everyone bar verratti) if we'd sign berardi.
