word is 36mil euros but nothing confirmed yet

    well fuck

pretty sure that he leaves atletico if they manage to win CL

    forza Bayern? :scared:
I believe he's one of the better players to get at the moment. He'd fit into every team and into any league. So imo he'll be a great purchase for any team if happens.

Simeone is great but he'd fail at both Milan and Inter. Simply because they have shit player and unless they invest BIG there are no coaches to help their cause.

Couldn't they get sponsorship deals from new china investors just like man city did with sheiks?
They can but that always struck me as an arab sheikh thing to do :D. I expect the chinese business genius to be a lot smarter.

That aside, City was always going to make massive revenues out of the EPL and the commercial benefits that come from being a top EPL team (massive shirt sales and so on). They also get to advertise their airline to the whole EPL fanbase which is massively far reaching worldwide. It would make less business sense to put that kind of investment in Milan because it will take a long long time before they start reaping the rewards. Commercially they can catch up with us in a couple of years (assuming they actually build a top team that performs immediately) while they will take a longer time to build their own stadium and equal our matchday revenues. It also takes time to be good in the CL and make it consistently past the group stage to make good CL money. We will ofcourse also be growing during that time period.

Fuck great Serie A if it means great Milan/Inter.
Great Serie A clubs = Great serie A money = Juve can compete financially with the big boys.

Its not like we had many troubles putting them in their place when they used to be good rich clubs. They never scared us and there is no reason to suggest that they would be better than us this time around. We have a massive advantage eitherway and we have fantastic management that can keep us ahead for many years to come.

Both teams need a Marotta like figure to turn things around. They need to spend smart and have a long term plan rather than try to gain in the short term. And that's not going to happen.

Would be good for Milan if true. However, the Chinese have always been reputedly shrewd/wise business men. They wouldn't pour money down a hole like Milan if the won't get returns. Splurging money on ostentatiois vanity projects and what is essentially a toy (football clubs) is more of a gulf arab thing to do.

Even if it is legitimate, we have such a insurmountable lead over the rest of the jabronis in Serie A, that we would have most likely a 10-15 year lead in terms of growth when their sporting project finally gets off the ground.

Also, I doubt even a fantastic manager such as Simeone would be able to do much at Inter. They have got such a massive hole to crawl out of in terms of finances that it would take years for them to find stability.

I think for his next gig, Simeone might take a bigger project that will give him room and finances to maneuver in terms of how he wants to build a squad. EPL perhaps? A long shot given his history, but he might even consider us as a viable destination in the future.

Getting a great coach means you become more ambitious and give him tools. Also his Atletico past 5 years is just ridiculous in what he got out of his players. Very few of them stars, tho Atletico has a very good Academy that he made great use for. But generally it's mostly good modest players he made into a great unit.

Simeone will need to take Atletico's sport director with him lol. Done brilliant job finding bargains, especially South America.
