Milan Coach Cristian Brocchi discusses Silvio Berlusconi - “I’ve always respected my superiors”.

The former midfielder has been promoted from his position as Primavera Coach after Sinisa Mihajlovic was sacked yesterday.

It has been suggested that the Serbian was dismissed as he wouldn’t allow the club President to interfere in team selection, and the new man was asked about Berlusconi’s input.

“I want you to know one thing,” Brocchi told journalists in his presentation Press conference.

“I’m not offended and I’ll never be offended if you ask me questions like that. It’s not about being a 'yes man’, it’s about respect.

“I’ve always respected my superiors for my entire life. The sharing of ideas is fundamental, I think part of growth is comparing ideas with other people.

“The relationship I have with the President is this: it’s a relationship about exchanging views, and it will stay that way, as with Mr [Adriano] Galliani and everyone at Milanello.

“You can learn from everyone.

“The President, despite his many activities shutup, has always expressed the desire to follow Milan at every level.

“I think the fact that he’s spoken well of my style of play over the years means he was intrigued and started getting information.”

Are you guys actually like excited about winning serie a??? I'm sorry but if you guys still take joy and actually celebrate in winning the title in a completley weak pub league it is now for a 5th year in a row... Idk what to make of you. Yes the back to back from11-14 got me goin but then I only cared about the cl, who tf cares if we win serie a for the 5th time if we still get ko'd in r16 in Europe????? Like what??? Some of you guys saying you'd rather win the league and get knocked out in cl than win cl and be in 10th like what are you on????? Acid? Meth? No one will ever remember or care about a juventus reign unless there's a cl to go with it, it's the only thing that matters, some of you delusional morons need to realize that. Sinisa Mihajlovic thanked Milan fans “for appreciating me as a man,” but insulted Kevin-Prince Boateng’s fiancée.

The Coach received a Golden Tapir award from satirical show Striscia La Notizia, a common situation for those who have just been fired.

In a preview of tonight’s airing, Miha was asked what led to the dismissal.

“I am not the person you need to be asking, you’d have to ask the President. I do want to thank all the Milan fans, who were always very nice. It means they appreciated Mihajlovic as a man.”

However, he was then asked about comments from Melissa Satta, Boateng’s fiancée, who said there was an air of “tension” in the Milan locker room.

“I don’t want to seem racist, but I think women shouldn’t talk about football. They are not suited to it.”

Obviously is moronic indeed to not be happy about winning the league 5 times...or 10 times in a row. Thats why juve plays for in italy. But i get his point about the league being shid. Sadly, it seems Juve is 2 or 3 steps ahead any other team in the league...and is obvs not sad for us...but sad for the league itself.

Most teams are in shambles and we dont have a proper rival who can pose a treat and up their game. Napolis run has more to do with a miraculous higuain and with us fuking up, than with napoli itselsf. The rest of the teams are in a limbo of lack of money , bad signings and bad results.

As of today, Juventus is the only team which seems to have a north... the rest are like headless poor chickens. We need a better league for our achievements to create more hype internationally.

Right now, if we do not win in the CL, no one cares about us.. and only look at us to see which player they can snatch.

Serie A is sad indeed.
