Florenzi and Digne are injured. And I'm pretty sure Spalletti will play 4 at the back vs smaller teams.

Average attendances from last season below. Serie A on par with the mighty MLS:

  but but...nobody cares about mls
factor out prices and purchasing power for every country and you'll see as result that Italian fans together with EPL are willing to put the biggest financial sacrifice for football. Bundesliga lol 10eur a ticket for the richest european country. That's nothing. Let Italy have their wages and their ticket prices and you see the attendance numbers doubled.

Why are german tickets so cheap ? They got such big attendences, seems better to increase prices, then to expand their stadium

Fans would nuke the club's fucking HQ. And germans are proud of their football culture allowing everybody to go and watch a match. Bayern cheapest ticket like 10eur and you're gonna see great from the cheapest seats even. Now go and try to buy a ManUnited ticket for 10eur

Economy is one of the big factors. That's not in the club's hands. Having a decent stadium is another big factor. That is.

Another big factor is size and population of the city. Turin will never attract crowds like Barcelona e.g. even if Juve becomes the best club in Europe.

I think math is involved here too. I'm sure those prices are optimized. If your stadium has a very large seating capacity, you can offer low prices and fill the stadium and still make a lotta $.

Having terrific coverage from Sky Italia so that you can sit at home in the comfort of your couch and not be arsed to go attend a game at the stadium is also another factor.

Even with better stadiums and low ticket prices, the trend among Italian fans probably wont change.
