Fiorentina could do with a player who is likely to beat his man one-on-one with some regularity.
I'm no fan of Zarate, but I don't think Fiorentina are far off the mark in looking for that kind of player.

Against Juve and Milan they created nothing.
Both teams were prepared to sit deep and allow Fiorentina the ball in safe areas.
How do Fiorentina score against a deep, well-organised defence?
Kalinic will score the odd header from a high ball, but generally Fiorentina are going to be limited to attempting very intricate, very difficult moves in order to create chances and you just don't score that many goals like that - particularly against good teams.
