Garcia is out-losering Mancini so far, failtastic with the first 11 he has compared to Inters, only Icardi, Miranda and possibly Handanovic (IMO Schezny as good as him) would make Roma's eleven.

No way. Handanovic is world class. Schezny is horrible.

Handanovic is not world class, just very good with occasional blunders. Rate both the same except the pole is less likely to make major errors like Handanovic.

Iturbe to Bournemouth it seems.

Something that I would have never envisioned myself saying at this time last year.

Cherries beat Watford to Iturbe
By Football Italia staff

Bournemouth appear to have sensationally beaten Watford to Roma forward Juan Manuel Iturbe for €24m (£17.7m).

The striker was all set to join Premier League outfit Watford FC and even underwent a medical yesterday.

However, Bournemouth suddenly leapt into the fray last night and their tactic seems to have worked.

Sky Sport Italia claim Watford are refusing to increase their offer of a six-month loan for €1.5m and option to buy for a further €18m.

That would take the total cost of the operation to €19.5m (£14.2m).

Bournemouth have reportedly proposed €2m for the loan and a further €22m to buy outright at the end of the season.

There would also be a substantial pay rise for the player himself and that seems to have swung the deal in their favour, as Watford made it clear they won’t be drawn into a bidding war.

Such a sum is practically what Roma originally paid to sign Iturbe from Verona in 2014.

Iturbe, meanwhile, has no particular preference between Watford and Bournemouth, so the Cherries have a huge advantage by offering more money.

According to SportItalia, the wages offered by Watford are €1.5m per season, plus a few bonuses, more or less what he currently earns at Roma.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, proposed €2.3m net plus €700,000 per year bonuses for Premier League safety and at least five decisive incidents (goals or assists).

And the implosion continues in the Capital

Spalletti spotted at Roma?
By Football Italia staff

Luciano Spalletti was reportedly spotted at the Roma training ground, as he’s still in the running to replace Rudi Garcia.

Despite a 2-0 victory over Genoa at the weekend, the Coach remains in the balance, as President James Pallotta is unconvinced.

Director Walter Sabatini promised reporters “there may well be blood, but it won’t be that of the Coach.”

However, Radio Radio, Mediaset Premium and SportItalia continue to claim Garcia is hanging by a thread and that Spalletti was spotted in the city near their Trigoria training ground.

Spalletti was in charge of Roma under previous owner Rosella Sensi and came very close to clinching the Scudetto before leaving in 2009.

He then had success in Russia with Zenit St. Petersburg, but is ready for a return to Italy and to his former club, where the fans are still very fond of him.

SportItalia also suggest Spalletti met with President Pallotta in Miami back in March, so this change-over has been in the works for some time.

If there was to be a change of Coach, now would be ideal, as Serie A is over until January 6.

Melo with only 3 game ban for that horror show kick...

Even worse is that it's his second red card in 6 matches. So repeat offender, and probably the most absurd thing seen on a pitch this season so far, and FIGC gives him 3 games. What a joke. If a Juve player did that it would be 10 games easy. :sergio:
