Didn't do too badly in EL qualification either, lost 1:2 & 1:0 against some random Portuguese team.

This year an Irish second division team got in the EL through UEFA's Fair Play system. They actually got through the first qualifying round against some Luxembourg team, before losing to Slovan Bratislava in the next round.
