Napoli is losing that 2nd place... They still have Bologna at home midweek without Higuain, and then Roma away on the weekend, and Torino away as their second last match. 3rd place scudetto of honesty

We're winning the league by 10+ points again fellas. :D

Insigne: 'Good to see Juventus struggle’

September 10 2015

Lorenzo Insigne admits that as a Napoli fan he’s 'pleased’ to see Juventus near the bottom of Serie A.

The Bianconeri have lost their opening two fixtures for the first time since the introduction of a national League, and the Partenopei attacking midfielder was asked for his thoughts.

“As a Napoli fan, I’m glad to see them near the bottom of the table,” Insigne joked in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“There’s always a healthy rivalry with them. As a player I’d say that it’s still too early to judge, they’ve started badly, but they have great players to help them recover.

“As a Napoli fan I hope they stay where they are!”

The Vesuviani have also struggled so far this campaign, picking up just one point from matches against Sassuolo and Sampdoria.

However, with the weekend seeing a return to Coach Maurizio Sarri’s former club Empoli, who defeated Napoli 4-2 in the fixture last season, motivation is high.

“The match against Sampdoria was a good game, it’s a shame about the result, but we just have to keep working.

“The Coach is definitely working to increase our intensity for the full 90 minutes. We’re putting fuel in the tank, and there will definitely be extra motivation against Empoli given last year’s result.”
