It also suggests Galliani will scrap his attempts to sign Ibrahimovic as a free agent when his contract with PSG expires in June.

“Ibrahimovic and the like have wages that are no longer sustainable by our club,” added Galliani.

“The truth is that Serie A was once a destination for players, but now it has become a transitory passage towards the big money.”

So is Spain, bar the top duo, and they're the best league in the world

Moratti: 'Kondogbia to spite Milan'
By Football Italia staff

Massimo Moratti confessed Inter bought Geoffrey Kondogbia “in part to stop Milan getting him.”

The former President, still a shareholder in the club, spoke to FCInterNewsMag with a remarkable revelation.

“At that moment the arrival of Kondogbia had a thousand different meanings attached to it, including the fact we stopped Milan getting him,” said Moratti.

“He was part of a move that had that kind of value on it. We hope that with time, seeing as the lad is very young, he can prove he’s worth it.

“You can tell he’s got quality, he just needs to put together some experience.”

The two city rivals were duelling openly on the transfer market for the Monaco midfielder, even holding meetings in the same restaurant.

Inter eventually won out with a deal worth €31m, but Milan CEO Adriano Galliani commented at the time “whoever gets Kondogbia will be bled out.

some nipples fans have sent a memo saying they are the italian champions no matter what happens with Juve who are stealing and benefiting of ref favouritism. They will celebrate the scudetto May 15th at piazza del plebiscito. They mention it the scudetto of honesty.

so that's one scudetto of honesty to nipples and one to inter.
lmao

Lol would be funny if Roma get second, sending napoli to third. Still possible, but would be hillarious.
I'm now tempted to support Roma.

director of a news channel in Italy not wanting to comment on the derby :gsol:incidents:gsol:.

these 2 always say $#@! on Juve during the Tiki Taka show on Italia 1. Guy on the right speaks like a 12 year old girl. :hihi:
Holy shit, I missed all this :dielaugh:

Translation: Ibra wants nothing to do with Milan because he's still a top player while Milan is half a team away from being a CL team.

It has nothing to do with wages or the league in this scenario. It has to do with Milan being a mid-table mediocrity.

Napoli fan attempting to sue referee after Juventus defeat

ffs

One foolhardy Napoli fan has begun legal proceedings against referee Nicola Rizzoli after the official decided not to send off Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci during Sunday's fiery encounter against cross-city rivals Torino.

The Derby della Mole is always a lively affair and the most recent instalment proved no different, Juve eventually winning 4-1 to re-establish their three-point lead over Napoli at the top of the Serie A table.

However, watching from afar, Napoli fan Luigi Giordano was outraged at the lack of disciplinary action taken by referee Rizzoli during the match, despite the sending off of Sami Khedira for dissent in the latter stages.

A lawyer by trade, Giordano was rendered aghast by several refereeing decisions, decisions he felt directly benefited Juve's title hopes at Napoli's expense.

As well as Torino having a goal chalked off, Giordano also took umbrage at Rizzoli failing to red card Bonucci despite the Juve centre-back appearing to butt heads with the referee at one point during the game.

According to Gazzetta World, it was this incident that tipped him over the edge and he immediately filed an official complaint with the relative authorities.

"I have done my duty as a lawyer and Napoli fan," Giordano wrote on his Facebook page. "I now place my trust in the Turin magistrates."
:howler:

There's a point to this, Guardiola and some other top coach I forgot name of both said they dont make the players run in training, its waste of time. That they maintain their energy levels for the game. Train more with ball/gameplay movement instead of running drills. It seems like Italy's training methods involves alot of running mostly, which is a parodox considering they tend to be slower and not as fit as most overseas top teams.
In England, they spend less time on conditioning, but when they train, they train with a lot more intensity.

In Italy, they train with less intensity (maybe with the exception of Juve) but spend more time on training.

Funny how quickly time flies. Still remember him on the Azzurri bench in 98. RIP Cesare.
Same ! It was my first world cup I've watched.
Cesare's tactics were too negative tho, and star studden italy wasent a unit as they should be.

Still the most illustrous world cup i've ever seen.

RIP cesare

I like the patheticness of their comments.

Juve has retained pogba for several seasons now, we swoop for the world bests upcomming leftback, we get Dybala for a cool 40mil (incl. bonus), a player like cavani openly expressing happyness of beeing linked with juventus.

Serie A is a destination for players, if you are juventus, indeed like Spain is one if you are madrid/fagcelona.

if you are a mid table team for several seasons, you are a transitory passage towards the big money, in any league in the world. Because that is exactly what Milan has become, and their pathetic attempt to shadow this fact is humiliating and laughable
