I'd like to think its a valid concern. Not a full blown concern, but being within striking distance, and that may well get further complicated in the scenario that we progress in the CL. Surprised everyone is so confident we got this. Anyone who has seen the Lazio season would know how funny this sport can be. :)
You mean 2000? We won a lot of games but were unconvincing. This year we are miles ahead of everyone else.

Sure, but i think the pressure is less on the chasing team in this scenario IMO. a) They've gotten this deep into the season with such a small gap. They really have nothing to lose and that will help them play more freely mentally. b) Just the fact that they are here, gives them belief with each passing match day that they can do this.
You do this every single year. You did it last year and the year before when we were up 8-10 points around the 10 game left mark. According to you we were in huge danger of being caught, and we won both titles by 17 points. Is this just your thing? Assuming we're going to lose all the time down the stretch?

It's a coping mechanism for some.

Napoli should be ashamed of themselves if they don't win the title this year. We have given them (and the rest of Serie A) a massive head start this season after our dreadful opening 10 rounds. And now they are scrapping and chasing after us. We have the experience, the nous, the players and the coach to see us through to the end.

I guess Im just always overly cautious in these situations. :D I think it probably comes from my early years as a fan, when i saw us throw away that CL semi to Utd in Torino, after being 2-0 up, and the loss to Lazio after opening up a nine point gap. May well be psychological for a fan like myself, but even as a neutral, I do believe a team chasing a small lead will play freer than the team ahead of it.

Id say Roma and Inter should be just as ashamed especially since they have a little more experience of a title run and had a similar advantage to that of Napoli.

You don't think our players have a massive psychological advantage at this point? You keep bringing up Napoli managing to stay close to us for a long time, but it hasn't been that way this year. They all saw us lose 3 integral stars of our team, they saw how bad we were to start the year and all opened up a huge gap at the top of the table. We had like 12 points after 10 rounds. And now they have to deal with the fact we haven't lost in 19 matches and have somehow gone from relegation zone to 3 points clear in that time, overturning a massive points deficit on all of them.

I'd say psychological advantage goes entirely to us, even if I think a 3 point gap means nothing at this point. Napoli could easily win the title, but all the same I feel pretty safe in predicting otherwise.

Taking a photo with Icardi and still being the most punchable face in the picture is no easy feat.

And I don't understand how anyone could think we will slip up. Nipples are only (supposedly) in the scudetto race because of our false start to the season, without it they wouldn't even be close. They won't overtake us because they simply aren't good enough

This.
If anything the rest of the league (especially Napoli, Roma and Inter) should be be embarrassed of themselves for letting Juve back into the race. Reverse the situation, if Juve had started out 10-15 points ahead of Napoli and they would have caught us and even surpassed Juve, I would be freakin pissed. Of course the psychological advantage is ours.

Honestly I don't know that yet. The likes of Dybala, Cuadrado, Khedira, Morata, are a bit untested in terms of being on the wrong side of the coin in a title race that goes down to the wire. Although I'd make the exact same argument about Higuain, Insigne, Callejon etc. As a team, staff, club, we are definitely more aware of our strengths psychologically, but on individual level, I don't know how the aforementioned would react or how their game would be affected, if say, we need a result on the final two or three match days.

According to me, Allegri has a huge role to play in this part of the season. His experience will impact our results on the home stretch greatly. Like we've already seen, Sarri keeps taking the pressure off his team by saying they have no business having gotten this far and running us so close.

My prediction? If we don't drop points leading up to Fiorentina and win that game away, I'd say our chances will increase, irrespective of the points gap increasing on that match day. Feel like we need one more eventful match day to break Napoli's chase/belief.

If all goes well I'll be in the stadium for that game.
