That sounds about right...although at least my hedonistic family over there are less backwards minded.
Yeah,not everyone is like that.

In this guys case, his grandmother still accepts him, but the rest of his family doesnt. Consider it an insult to them even.

He's a great guitarist. Check out his band "silver addiction" if you are into glamrock

Regardless of what your stance is on these type of issues, there is no place for them in society. I'm not accepting of homosexuals but it doesnt mean I'll go around screaming racial slurs at them or shunning them. Especially coming from a so called public figure. But its typical that it would come from a napoletano.
I agree very much, no space for gays!

It is because it should. Study a little history to understand why. I'm not wasting my time trying to explain to someone who calls a black man a monkey and finds it the most normal thing in the world... and funny. Find out for yourself why it became such a pejorative term to be used and has no place in today's world.

Sure you do, Zach.
isn't it though?

Its extremely unprofessional to insult

But calling someone "asshole, or calling a black man "nigger" is quite a difference.

In italy apparently calling someone gay, is as bad as calling a black man a nigger.

Seriouslt wtf
It's not different. Faggot is in fact an offensive term to insult gay people. He didn't call him gay, he used the words frocio and finocchio, which are insults. More importantly though this is just Mancini being a cunt.

How about "queer"? Is it offensive?
Queer I think would depend on the person saying it. If it's an 80 year old.. He probably did intend it as such. If it's a 23 year old gay man, probably not. In this type of thing the intent is what matters most. Did Sarri intend to insult gay people? Clearly not, he just thinks Mancini is an asshole.
