Icardi scored 8 goals this season so far, but they have only come in 3 games!! 2 vs Juve, 1 vs Genoa and 4 vs Pescara...15 million is a lot for someone who has only scored in 3 games
4 games, as he scored another goal against Roma. I get your point though, he's still raw. The same goes for someone like Belfodil or Gabbiadini.

De Rossi has been mediocre for 3 or 4 years but i think this has to do with Roma. The guy is class with the Italian NT, and that's one of the main reasons the Roma ultras criticise him.Maybe he needs to change environment...??

:shifty: And what is the difference? It's the same old Mirko, who misses 100% chance and scores crazy ones. In on of those 2 seasons he had 19 goals.
It's not the same Mirko imo. Look at the effort he puts in since he's here: he runs much more, in the 4-3-3 he even defended at times, he shouts at his teammates and wants them to play well. He has become much more of a leader on the pitch, instead of the casual indifferent player he was at Roma. He was never a prolific scorer.

Dule a you cool guy, but you need to realise that Mirko is one the best players in the world on his day :D

He still scored more with Roma tho. And that's playing as a winger.

Which is not very often.

True, but he has been a game changer for us this season a couple of occasions. He's improving and is the only striker that is considered 'untouchable' by the Coach and the fans.

But Vermaelen is a WC defender right? :D

Being better than the likes of Matri, Quag and Bendtner is hardly much of an achievement.

The thing about Vucinic is, he really is massively talented, on his day he does border on being world class. However, he rarely plays to his full ability, when he does, few forwards are as good as him. His inconsistency would be very frustrating to me if i were a Juve fan. That being said, when i say he's inconsistent, that does not mean he's poor most of the time. It just means that he doesn't play at the same level week in week out.

Not sure what Vermalen has to do with any of this, but if you want my opinion on him, I don't think he's world class at all. He's a strong, fast defender thats good with the ball at his feet, and a very good one on one defender. However, he has too many lapses of concentration, makes too many mistakes, his positioning is not all that, and his general IQ as a defender isn't that high imo. I wouldn't consider him close to the top three defenders in the EPL, wouldn't even consider him in the top five(even though its debatable).

Fair enough. I would like to say that although him being inconsistent, he does create atleast one or two 100% chances per game for his teammates, he isn't more frustating than others sometimes imo.

Oh, you called Vermaelen a WC defender once. I think when you're a massive fan of a player you can't judge them fairly anymore.

I don't use the term WC very loosely, i doubt i ever called him world class.
