I'd still sign him in a heartbeat if we realistically had a chance. Great all action midfielder IMO. He's been stuck in a dead end shite team like Roma for far too long, Conte would bring him back to his best years.

But yeah like others have said, would definitely be a luxury signing hehe. Dont really need him.

Few more posts and Blasi will look better than De Rossi.

It's clear things hasn't been ideal for him at Roma last couple of years, but even in his worst seasons, he's still the best Roman player alongside Totti in their team. Perfect stamina, good passer, great ball control and puts immense work and pressure on his opponents.

In that old Roma it was Pizarro who was the best player in their midfield IMO. Now in this one it's Pjanic and I think he was never in the top 3 of their best players.

As for his passing I think it's rather horrible, especially long balls of his. (passes Rab, not his balls)

I still believe what his offers to the team is something that 15-20mln DMs offer, far from anything great and on the highest level.

Sorry bro, I disagree with everything you said.

Pizzaro was good at Roma but not half the player De Rossi is.

Obviously he's not a Makelele passer, but he's definitely okay not horrible at all like you mentioned, you don't need great passers when you have a player such as De Rossi, Essien(Chelsea), Marchisio. They're too good in other aspects that they don't need a Pirlo in their feet.

lmao, fucking Ranieri still can't believe that they lost scudetto at home against sampdoria :sergio:
Ranieri let that Roma make one of the impressive runs i've ever seen though. Did they not come back from - 14. Shame Cassano had to spoil it.

Anyway, you're all a bunch of revisionists. De Rossi is great and has been for the majority of his playing carreer. One of the most, if not the most, complete midfielders.

He is good at his prime, but now he is average, compare his stats to any other dm and you will see no difference
