He was lucky to have Ibra and Silva. I want to see what this guy does with Pazzini, Nocerino, Constant and Bonera.
Yeah, I want to see what he's going to do this season in terms of Milan's style of play.

They've spent the last couple of years just playing around Ibrahimovic and with him making poor players look much better than they really are.

Now they've lost pretty much all their senior/good players, including Cassano, who is another one who can do enough to bring up the level of poor players around him.

They are going to actually have to come up with a real plan of how to move the ball around to create space and chances because they don't have a special player or two to create out of nothing.

Juve had to figure out how to do that last season and did it very well, though they did still struggle to get goals.

And those Milan problems are just for them in attack.

I've no idea how to make their defence function properly or how their poor midfield can offer it decent protection.

And Gargano is a good signing by Inter.

He may not be anything like as good a player as Cambiasso is/was, but he'll be able to cover a lot of ground in midfield and Inter will need midfielders who can do that judging by how the rest of their team is shaping up at the moment.

Ah, yes.

Back when Milan would present Ancelotti with a heap of No. 10s and expect him to shoe-horn them into a team.

Ancelotti really was great with that shoe-horn of his.

Gargano is a bit overrated around here, he's just an OK player.

Anyway, Inter look stronger and will at least contend for a CL spot. Above them only Juve now. They seem to be in the similar level of Napoli and maybe Roma.

Anyway, focusing on the Serie A they could be dangerous. Even though there are a lot of "ifs" for them to contend. If Cassano and Sneijder are healthy, if Cambiasso, Samuel, Zanetti, Maicon, Milito don't decay drastically due to age, if Coutinho can prove himself to be useful, if Ranocchia steps up his game.

These factors will be fundamental to them. In the absence of CL, they have a chance to do well and bother us.

You changed your color to white for it to blend in you tool. It is still the same thing just one is white. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there :(

I give it till Winter before Allegri is canned and they bring a new coach.

Can we have a poll for coaches?

First sacked, you mean?

Not sure if Milan will ditch Allegri.

It really depends on whether they know they've given him a shit squad, and that he'll struggle to get in the top three, or if they'll sack him as soon as it's clear Milan are off the pace for the scudetto.

Still, Allegri being sacked shortly after Milan fail to get out of their group in the CL would seem a fairly likely outcome.

Some Italian news/blog based in Boston says Serie A got its rights back as well as Gol di Giostra is returning. http://www.bostoniano.info/2012/08/21/last-minute-deal-saves-serie-a-on-rai/

I'm almost certain now that RAI Italia will be broadcasting Serie A this season. Hopefully the first week isn't missed.
@Trequartista

Treq, do you know if RAI Italia shows Serie B matches? If I remember right, a friend of mine told me they did, but I don't really know if he knows what he's talking about. :D
Do you know if Serie B is included if RAI acquire rights to Serie A? Or are they seperate?

Handanovic; Maicon, Ranocchia, Samuel, Nagatomo; Cambiasso, Zanetti, Guarin; Sneijder, Cassano, Milito.

They'd also have J. Cesar; Jonathan, Silvestre, Juan, Chivu; Mudingayi, Gargano, Ricky Alvarez; Coutinho, Palacio, Longo.

They've got a decent/good midfield and attack if healthy. Weird defense though. But actually have some depth now in mdfield and attack.

Milan: Abbiati; Antonini, Acerbi, Zapata, LD; Ambrosini, Nocerino, Montolivo, Boateng; Robinho, Pato.

No depth at all, maybe just with Emanuelson and Konstant in midfield. And with Pazzini and SES. But defence really sucks.

Inter could push for the championship, let's see

Don't forget Inter is close to Europa League participation. Milan qualified for CL, Udinese CL (EL already secured if they don't survive the preliminary's of the CL), Lazio and Inter also preliminary's of the EL. Napoli secured Europa League also.

So only Roma atm is free from midweeks.
