Milan aren't mediocre, they're getting Cassano back who is a hundred times better than Robinho, possibly Boateng as well. Montolivo/Nocerino will put in some class games (and some not), they'll have more energy in midfield. I think it's still between Juve and Milan for Serie A at this point in the mercato.

How can it be the same when they lost so many players?
Cassano will be back, but half of their team will be new and none of them is anything close to a game changer. Nocerino is gonna suck this season, he was just way too lucky. I'm not saying they are going to be relegated but I think their mercato so far sucks and it's rather funny if it's closed cause their squad doesn't look finished. If Ibra or Cassano pick up some injury they I have no idea who will score goals.

The biggest obstacle will be getting over losing so many big winners in the dressing room, but I'm thinking that is irrelevant when Zlatan is at that team. He spoke about uniting the loser Inter side he joined back in 2006 and they went on to win loads of things after that. In Serie A you don't need the same level of quality across the pitch to really compete for the top spots anymore, I think they have enough classy forwards to carry them.
Nocerino has had one very good season, I think he can do it again. I don't really see it as lucky he managed to score so many goals.
I think Milan are still going to buy someone else by the way. Announce they're finished in the transfer market -> uncle Silvio opens his wallet and spends on another player -> Galliani comes out and say how generous he is to the Milan fans.

I think if Ibra keeps healthy (and he normally is) then Milan may have an improved squad. Cassano is their third best player, only after Ibra and Silva. And Pato may actually play this time, and he is definitely better than shitty Robinho. Montolivo doesn't change things a lot, he's Aquilani like.

We are definitely strenghtening the squad, but we gotta see who is the top striker. And there's Pirlo factor. If he's healthy, we probably win the scudetto again.
Inter is the same with Sneijder. They dont have depth, but will focus on serie A and if Sneijder is healthy they can make a run.

I think the key for us to winning again this year is not just an amazing striker, but an excellent defense, I think we need someone with more quality than DC. We won last year largely because of Barzagli and Lich, who for me transformed Juventus completely. It makes a huge difference to have someone like him on the team. Hopefully our midfield will stay on form and that is our biggest weapon. I think it's very wise that we're packing our CM with so many players. Competing on three fronts, we will need to rotate with quality players and I'm happy to say that we have that at the moment. A great striker is a must, we need someone at least as good as Cavani, anything less would be a shame at this point.
As for Milan, it's ridiculous to say that they are out of the competition. They are still favorites this year. Don't forget how many games were won just by relying on Ibra. They have showed an amazing knack for killing off weaker teams, and that's still the edge they have over us. If we could just have more speed on our flanks, and an Ibra up front, we will then be considered favorites.
