Bayern thought the same way and we all know what happened..Competition will be tough as it is and has always been in Serie A no matter which team has strengthened or weakened.
Roma are just an ambitious mid level club, never a competitor for us, them selling their best player will just continue the trend of talent escaping the league, which in turn makes it harder for us to sign players.

I get what you are saying but this is not the old Serie A where one star could leave and the league would still be fine. The league is in a really bad position right now and its brand is just getting weaker by the time. That development would in the end affect the types of signings you'd want here like Llorente or Dzeko because they are not willing to play in Serie A. And I'm not interested in seeing Serie A hold Juventus back. A good Serie A is essential to Juventus.

The problems of the league come from a terrible federation and if they are not able to create a proper league then they have to step down and let others manage it.
