One of the reasons why they earned more than us are the sales of their two best players. My guess is they earned more than 30M on them.

Teams play less games, thus are less tired/injured for European matches. Also, the overall quality of the league is better as there are less shitty teams.

Also, teams have more at stake. Now, there are a bunch of teams that go through the motions for half the season once they realise that they are out of the European race or are assured of avoiding relegation. There will be 4 less teams with a bunch of meaningless games in which they have no motivation to play and their fans have no real reason to watch.

I hope they implement this.
