I like how its the Balkan people standing up for Ljalic. Delio Rossi was out of line but Ljalic has no right to open his mouth after being subbed. The teammates should beat his ass in the locker room. The coach can do whatever the fuck he wants.

Ok, let me put it in a more simple way: A coach beat one of his players during a football match.

Criticizing the coach doesn't equal to protecting the player.

And my comment about the Italian media attacking the Serb Ljajic is just an educated guess. When Krasic dived against Bologna last year, a TV reporter in Italy asked: "What can you expect from a Serb anyway?"

Whatever Ljajic said, it's the coach who broke all the rules and shouldn't be allowed to coach professionally in Italy anymore. Actually, he should be jailed.
But it's Italy we're talking about so don't expect anything from their justice system. In Italian courts a logical punishment for Rossi's action is to relegate Juventus.

I'm not balkan and I find it a joke to blame solely Ljalic and not the one who physically assaulted the other, WE DO NOT KNOW what Ljalic said, but being a whiny stuck up brat that makes provoking gesture/comment is nothing new even if ill discplined, but a coach assaulting his own player is a line I never seen a coach cross before.

And its ridicolous how thats being underplayed by some, and I dont mean only this forum, read it elsewhere. Player should be disciplined and dealt with by his club, like any else, but there is a reason Rossi is fired by Viola and 3 months suspended by the league. He physically attacked a player.

Yeah, Rossi should be charged with assault. And Ljalic should be butt raped for being a little asshole.

The Krasic case was ridiculous, I agree. Part of it was that he was a Juve player too. That ban was the dumbest thing I've heard.

I haven't had the chance to read it elsewhere but the fact that it occured in Italy doesn't help.

Yeah, Rossi got fired and banned. If Ljajic wants to press charges he could also do that and there be no doubt of some kind of prosecution, everyone can see the assault clearly. It's an aggravated assault charge. But what else do people want, Rossi hanged at dawn?

Ljajic will probably leave it at that as it's detrimental to his career to become a problem player. If it comes out that he did say one of those sick comments and there are witnesses (other people clearly heard it, and would be lying to say otherwise) then it makes Rossi's reaction more understandable, but no less unacceptable. They will both be tarnished.

I will defenitely join the camp of his reaction being more understandable if it was personal stuff like mocking his dead mother or such, despite not making it any less unacceptable as you said. But what ppl dont get is its media SPECULATION, nothing else, until its confirmed, its ridicolous to read how Ljalic is the one being villified everywhere I read about this.

He is a bratty underperforming little twerp who will be sold, but even if what you said is right, what else to do/say about Rossi, its still ridicolous for me to keep reading main focus of this being on the player who was physically assaulted.

That's the problem, media leaks the juiciest story, and sheep people lap it up. Could be true, but it's no fun to wait and see :D

Rossi could have had a bad day. But for all the disrespect Rossi has received in his lifetime for subbing players early, odds are that Ljalic was being a special class douchebag of the highest order to earn that sort of reaction. Not to excuse Delio's reaction. But he wouldn't risk his job/career like that because of some run-of-the-mill player dis.

Rossi's prime fault was to play Ljajic at all. I'd rather play an injured one legged Amauri than Ljajic.

---------- Post added 03.05.2012 at 18:33 ----------

Oh, and why was Ljajic replaced in 32nd minute?

Fiorentina were without Amauri, Jovetic and they only had 1 attacker in the team - Ljajic. Then at 0:2 for Novara, Rossi takes off his only attacker and replaces him with a midfielder. Fiorentina proceed to playing without an attacker, while trying to catch a 2 goal lead.

Something was most probably happening even before the sarcastic applause.

Cetainly I can't say I'm not happy about the results, but it is still pretty obvious that Juve will win Scudetto.

The team is gonna be fired up against Cagliari to support Buffon, and Atalanta at home will be a piece of cake as we proved it hours ago.

Plus, we haven't won one big game that in which we were the guest team. Lazio, Juve, Napoli, Arsenal, Barca. Unless you consider Roma and Udinese big games which I don't.
They have the same home record as Napoli and Lazio while conceding only 13 goals. And lets not forget that they would be 8th had they not been deducted 6 points. It's a really worrying match to have on the last day, especially one which will possibly decide the Scudetto. Plus I wouldn't put it passed Inter to purposely throw away the derby just to ensure Juve don't win the Scudetto, even with a decent look at 3rd.

But yes, I do expect a strong response against Cagliari.
