I think he did exactly what he intended (powerful, low shot) which is what a striker should do in that situation. I think the occasion was more important though, he handles pressure. I remember how Krasic flopped against Cagliari in the final minutes.

Someone needs to pull up the penalty save record of Handanovic.
But trying to shoot underneath him isn't going to hurt his record. ;)

Just posting now as I was at work whilst the game was on, but absolutely brilliant result between Udinese and Napoli, we need the teams who are fighting for third to drop as many points as possible.

If only Milan dropped points, it would have been a perfect round.

8 points off third place. Our Champions league spot is safe. We should give it all to win the scudetto. There is still plenty of time. And Milan will definitely drop points. It's up to us. We can't afford any more mistakes.

Yeah, the standings are at least guaranteeing a 2nd spot finish. We're not mentally strong. We have trouble being leaders. That's of course bad and it's not what we desire, but that's how things are and for the time being we have to accept it. But with the chasing teams far behind and Milan ahead of us we are at ease, in a good state of mind and without any pressure at all. That's imo a guarantee that we'll get good results and safely finish in top 2.

But we all want more than that and I'm not sure if our team has it in them.

Assuming Barca will humiliate ac, will that do us harm or good?

Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo blasted the “pathetic” referee for ruining their 2-2 draw with Napoli.

The Friulani were 2-0 up when Diego Fabbrini received a soft second yellow card, then there were complaints about Napoli’s free kick to make it 2-1.

“The referee was pathetic and completely unsuited to the game,” slammed Pozzo on Sky Sport Italia, referring to Gianluca Rocchi.

“Last Sunday he didn’t see a goal, but this time he was in disastrous condition. I hope that now those in charge of assigning officials can give him a bit of a rest.

“In my 26 years in football there have been many errors, but it’s not likely I will forget this match. You could see from the first yellow card that Rocchi was out of shape.

“The sending off made me angry. The handling offence for the penalty did not prove to be decisive, but there was a series of incidents that irritated me. The referee made a crucial difference.

“The problem was not just Fabbrini’s second yellow card, but a whole series of situations after we went 2-0 up.”
